Yabusame(horseback archery) and Kusajishi(Japanese archery) events are held in Sumida Park nearby Asakusa area.
Yabusame is a traditional Japanese archery performed on hourseback in dedication to the deities and praying for peace, rich harvest, and health. That is a martial art that dates back over 900 years to the Heian period.
There are two events, "Kusajishi(Japanese archery)" and the main event "Yabusame(horseback archery)".
The horseback archery is such a popular event, purchasing the ticket in advance is strongly advised.

Its a nice park nearby where you can get a nice view of tokyo skytree and the river. I went during the cherry blossom season and it was nice to walk along the river and look at all the cherry blossoms. Other than that its a little bit out of the way from every thing and there really signs a whole lot to do there but it is quiet and relaxing.
