A nice and quiet park where one can have a good stroll while enjoying the beautiful scenery around. And what more, during cherry blossom season where the blooming flowers add joy and happiness to the atmosphere.
Beautiful and clean River Sumida with boats cruising and the birds (or seagulls?) enjoying themselves!!! A great landscape shot, with the huge Tower behind!

Lovely walk along the river or bridges. Enjoyed the firework festival, well organised
Police and staff everywhere for smooth walk a long and to secure everybody had a spot to watch. Even in the subway lines they made sure everybody was safe

Outside of the cherry blossom season, it's just another park in Japan. Lots of green and nice walking paths, but a bit too quiet somehow. It does not worth a visit, if there is no cherry blossom. Unless you are looking for a nice place to picnic with river view. The city has much more interesting to do.

The fireworks festival during July is nice. Ensure you find a good viewing spot in the park.

There's a nice spot during the cherry blossom bloom where you can go up a little Hill and be surrounded by the blossoms. But it's quite small and there was some development going on when I went in April 2019. Worth a quick look while checking out Sumida river which is very beautiful and it's close to the Skytree also.
