Pink and white 3,000 vivid azaleas are in bloom !
Nezu Shrine is located near Ueno Park, and one of the oldest shrines in Japan. The shrine is surrounded by lush greenery and famous for its beautiful pond and the tunnel of lined-up torii gates.

Approximately 100 kinds of 3,000 azaleas are in full bloom over an acre and a half garden, and the blooming period is very long because of its varieties.
This is one of Tokyo's most spectacular spring scenes. You shouldn't miss it!

Some events are scheduled such as taiko(Japanese drumming) performance, dance entertainment, and traditional songs.
Also, there will be small food stalls and a small market selling pot plants and antique items.

Cute and nice. When I first came here there was a traditional Japanese drum show which was cool and exciting. Nice atmosphere and it is usually crowded. There’s a food festival there too.

Peaceful and serene location midst of busy Tokyo. The Google maps might show the navigation to this temple from the back side where you might end up coming to the top of stairs via a slope way, so lookout for that route where you'll enter this right from the main road infront of the Volvo showroom

This is a beautiful place to go. We went here on our last day to Japan & managed to capture some beautiful pictures here. We went there in the afternoon and luckily there weren’t many people.

A beautiful shrine.there is a pond in which you can find colourful fish. On the upper side there is path covered with Tori. Excellent place for taking pictures. The greenery on the upper side is awesome.
