Magnificent view from Arakurayama Sengen Park attracts lots of tourists from home and abroad particularly in spring when sakura bloom. You must have seen a photo of sakura, blossoms, Mt Fuji and 5 storied pagoda, all representative of Japan, in one taken from the Park. This spring it is your turn to shoot the breathtaking view.
Sakura festival will be held at the park during 8-16/Apr with stage shows, local cuisine sale booths etc.

Visited on 27th Dec. 2018. Very good place for taking a walk or viewing Fuji San. Here’s also a Shrine and a tower here. Can learn some local history from them. Very amazing tourism photo spot. Especially in good weather. All the Fuji San is viewable.

Should have a great view of Mt. Fuji with the five storied pagoda, but wasn't a clear day when I was here. Although it is still nice and refreshing place to visit. You could stop by here first if you're on your way to Mt.Fuji, Kawaguchiko, etc. If you didn't bring your own car, there are quite a lot of steps to climb, need a little effort but when you get to the top it'll be all worth it. The shrine in the entrance is worth your prayers also and beautiful to see.

You have to visit the park and I recommend visiting this park strongly. It takes 15minutes to move there from kawaguchiko lake by car. I think it is easy to approach the parking lot of this park fron the center of this village.

It will be hard to climb the top of park but you can see the greatest view to Mt.fuji and other scenery of Yamanashi prefecture. I do not need to tell you where the photo spot because you can check out after arriving the top.

Both entrance fee and parking lot fee are free. If you visit Yamanashi, try to visit there and enjoy.

Great park with an iconic photo spot. You can catch a glimpse of a five story pagoda with Mt Fuji in the backdrop on a clear day. There is an observation deck for the best view, but it will most likely be crowded (as it is a popular spot) if you go during peak times. You will need to climb a few hundred stairs to reach the top, but the view is worth it. At the base of the park, there is a big torii gate and a shrine. There is a free parking lot with a washroom as well. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Beautiful park, come prepared to climb stairs! Park further away if you drive, the parking lot designated for the park is difficult to get to.
