The perfect park to enjoy viewing of Mt. Fuji
3 stops away from the last station of the train to Fuji town. Once you get off the train it's about 10 min. Walk to enter the park and start your hiking up the hill. It isn't a lot but could take a total if 15 to 20 min to reach up the hill and the famous terrace.
Many other places in the hill are pretty great too and are amazing to take some shot.
Morning is a great time to visit. About afternoon you'll get your sun directly into your lens so be aware.

Very, very thankful that Fuji-san decided to show up when I visited.
The park where I went to is a very tranquil place. The stairs leading up to the pagoda can be challenging for people who do not exercise much. But the hike is so worth it. Took several pictures here, met some people - locals and tourists alike. Overall nice experience.
Treasuring this tranquil getaway sooo much.
Would definitely return. Highly recommended for a visit.

Beautiful park with a temple, shrine, five-storied pagoda and cherry blossom trees which bloom in April. There are about 400 steps up to the pagoda but it is worth the hike for the view. If you come here on a clear day you will be treated to a spectacular postcard view of Mt. Fuji and the pagoda. This would be fantastic with the cherry trees in blossom.

Excellent view of Mt Fuji with a Pagoda to match the scenery. The cherry blossoms in full bloom will make it all that more magical. Stairs are not bad, and there is a slow walking path that you can take to the summit if they really are not your thing. This is a can't miss stop

A great place to view Mount Fuji. The famous pagoda is fairly easy to reach, climbing 398 steps of stairs in about 10 mins. A good short workout, especially in the summer. A short walk from Shinoyshida Station.
