The perfect park to enjoy viewing of Mt. Fuji
3 stops away from the last station of the train to Fuji town. Once you get off the train it's about 10 min. Walk to enter the park and start your hiking up the hill. It isn't a lot but could take a total if 15 to 20 min to reach up the hill and the famous terrace.
Many other places in the hill are pretty great too and are amazing to take some shot.
Morning is a great time to visit. About afternoon you'll get your sun directly into your lens so be aware.

Beautiful park with a temple, shrine, five-storied pagoda and cherry blossom trees which bloom in April. There are about 400 steps up to the pagoda but it is worth the hike for the view. If you come here on a clear day you will be treated to a spectacular postcard view of Mt. Fuji and the pagoda. This would be fantastic with the cherry trees in blossom.

Excellent view of Mt Fuji with a Pagoda to match the scenery. The cherry blossoms in full bloom will make it all that more magical. Stairs are not bad, and there is a slow walking path that you can take to the summit if they really are not your thing. This is a can't miss stop

Nice place. The direction is very clear. I came in the middle of noon and its very hot eventhough its only 11 degree. Do prepare your umbrella to shield you. There is map direction outside shimoyoshida st. Follow the map and you'll be at the entrance no more than 15 minutes.
The pagoda is located at the top of the hill. You have to walk 400 stairs up to reach the pagoda.
Please take notice of the weather forecast in order to be able to see mt.fuji
