The castle looks nice from the outside, more than the inside. It's good for a quick visit, no need to stay for a long time. It's nice for taking a few pictures. There is no need to go out of your way to see it. If you happen to be near it than it might be worth a visit.

We visited Osaka castle on a rainy day. So we were lucky that it wasn’t that packed. The castle was impressive and the castle museum was interesting, if you have the time you should read about all the facts. Seeing this building in real life is breathtaking so I recommend visiting this place!

A beautiful example of an historic Japanese castle. Osaka Castle is surrounded by a beautiful park. The castle itself is also a wonderful museum with very nice exhibits and you can go all the way to the top and take in the surrounding views.. The souvenir shop offer a very good selection of gifts and the staff is exemplary.

The park area is nice and the castle is beautiful. It’s restored though so not the original structure. The inside costs $6 and it really depends on what your expectations are and how much you like history if that’s worth it or not. Very touristy inside with gift shops and museum exhibits with historical anecdotes. The view from the top is very nice and is the real reason I paid to go in.

The highlight of this area isn't the castle but the park around it. The castle has been rebuilt so the inside is just a modern museum with a decent but low observatory as the top floor.
The park around it many towers that you can go into and beautiful tree ponds surrounding it. They also offer illumination at night and flower viewing during spring bloom.
