Been here in autumn and the weather is so good to be missed. The place is so calm when I visited as not many people around. If you visited Osaka, this castle is a must. You don’t need to go inside the castle if you don’t wanna spend money. Outside the castle is still good.

Beautiful piece of historic architecture. We didn't go up to the top thought because the line was 3+hrs long. The nearby takoyaki stand was very nice though!
No need to spend too long though, unless you are truly fascinated with architecture and Japanese history! By all means, spend all the time there if that is what you wish!

Absolutely stunning. It might be a bit of a trek but trust me it is all worth it in the end. I happen to come here before the sun was setting so when I was on the balcony of the castle, Osaka was breathtaking. Seeing the city skyline from here was calming and it’s something i’m willing to do again in the future. Also even the walk to the castle was relaxing too!! There are plenty of tourists in the area.

Don't expect to see an original castle. This one is entirely made out of concrete.
Inside you can visit a museum in what look like more like a bunker than a castle.
The park is still beautiful and pretty peaceful.

The castle looks nice from the outside, more than the inside. It's good for a quick visit, no need to stay for a long time. It's nice for taking a few pictures. There is no need to go out of your way to see it. If you happen to be near it than it might be worth a visit.
