Even in the winter, the park was beautiful and peaceful. There are two traditional tea houses were you can enjoy a traditional tea service. Also I believe they have three gardens (Japanese, French and English).

For those of you you are English speakers, they do have an English option when purchasing your tickets from the ticket kiosk at the parks entry and an English map.

If you are in the area I would recommend visiting. I'm not an outdoorsy person and I really enjoyed visiting this park.

Was here about two weeks before the full bloom of cherry blossoms. But managed to catch the early ones. This garden is beautiful and excellent for a morning walk. Do not miss the traditional Japanese garden. There are a tea house in the garden but did not manage to try as it was closed during my visit. Highly recommended.

Such a gorgeous and serene place! I was so blessed to see the cherry blossoms early in March. Absolutely stunning and worth going to check out! Only 200 yen entrance fee, great walk around the Japanese gardens, wear comfy shoes!

Great open garden in the bustling Shinjuku precinct surrounded by several fish ponds, encircled by skyscrapers. I visited during the chrysanthemum exhibition in autumn and the multitude of colours of flowers and trees were dazzling. Many locals come here to enjoy the fresh air and space, exercise, painting, even for weddings.

Winter-Cherry blossoms were so gorgeous. It was just a perfect time and day. There was no words to explain this view. Beauty of Pink and Color of Love. Cherry blossoms season will be earlier than usual this year: Starts blooming in March 20th in Tokyo.
