"A romantic jewel in the heart of Tokyo". Come and discover with me this hidden oasis in the heart of the city, an essential visit in Tokyo. I will give you all kinds of details and I will tell you the secrets that are hidden among the 58 hectares of these botanical gardens. A true paradise of peace and tranquility that many locals barely know. Each tree has a story behind; In this park lies the largest variety of cherry trees in all of Japan, there are more than a thousand planted here. If you want to enjoy the park and other places in its surroundings, here is a guru walker that will take you on the best route. Goodbye to the maps!

I went on my last morning in Tokyo and I’m so glad that I did. What an awesome treat to see the cherry blossoms in all their beauty.

The park and gardens are great for a serene stroll and people watching on the benches lining the paths. There were lots of picnickers out on the great lawn. If you have time, this a great way to enjoy the place.

There’s a Starbucks with shaded overlooking one of the ponds. A nice place to take a break on a sunny day

It is a very large beautiful garden. The entry fee is 500 yen, however today, I don't know what special day it is so that the entrance fee is free. My lucky day!!. This garden has many cherry trees with various colors. There are white, pink and yellow. Wide grass field and a lot of activities on it such as walking, sitting as a family, some are laying down etc. If we look around, we would not think that we were in the center of busy Tokyo. Great garden!!!. Worth a visit.

The Garden is open early now, we arrived about 8:30am and walked around while it was nice and cool out. There are many paths with beautiful trees and flowers. The green house was my favorite area with so many colorful flowers, it opens at 9:30. Don't miss it if you go! There are drink vending machines and plenty of restrooms along the way. We really enjoyed the park!

Surely one of the world's greatest urban parks. Wonderful and peaceful, packed with cherry blossom trees, ponds, trees, flowers, and lots of trails. It is very easy to spend a couple hours here just wandering around taking in all the beautiful sights and sounds. There is a small entrance fee, however if you happen to come on public holidays, it is free (verify before coming) - however, the park will also be much more crowded than usual.
