Tohoku Kizuna Festival has been continuing since 2011, when Tohoku Earthquake(Great East Japan Earthquake) happened, to pray for the reconstruction and comforting the souls of those who lost their lives in the disaster. Kizuna means "the bond between people".
Six prefectures which had especially great damage of Tohoku Earthquake made this festival in cooperation. The festival began a yearly tour of the capital cities of the six prefectures of Tohoku region, starting in Sendai.
This year, Tohoku Kizuna Festival is held in Fukushima.
The main event of this festival is the parade which six individual festivals from six prefectures make one big parade, six-for-one.

– Main Venue: Fukushima City Hall Western Car Park
– Sub-Venues: JRA Fukushima Racecourse, Fukushima Fuzoku Primary School, Fukushima Daini Primary School, Shinhama Park.
