Big and worth visiting. At least plan for two days in good flowering seasons. Renting bicycle is good option. food trucks are available to supply some food. For vegetarians buy your own food. Staffs are very friendly .

A good side trip to go if you visit Tokyo. It just takes around one and a half hours by car. You can see a large variety of flowers and beautiful landscapes there. There are restaurants & cafes available and thus you can have a relaxing day with your family or friends.

undoubtedly beautiful place, but only at certain times of the year due to the different types of flowers and flowering, they do not clarify it anywhere as far as I know... in photos they make it look more beautiful than it really is... the shuttle ride is very boring and I do not recommend it.

Since we went to visit the park right after peak flower season, it was pleasantly not crowded so we got to see the whole park. You should definitely rent a bike for a very small fee, to experience the enormous size of the park, as I can not imagine walking through the whole place!
One of the highlights was the nice hill you can walk up to see the ocean and view. Also the tandem bikes are a great couple distraction. Since we went on a very sunny day the view was just beautiful! Highly recommended if you love nature and want to leave the city behind
