A must visit. The whole Alpine Route journey is just amazing! We took the 1-day-1-way pass - started from Toyama early morning to reach Nagano in the evening via the Alpine Route. For the passes check at the Information counter at Toyama / JR East stations. Remember you need to start early - Try to leave Toyama by 7-7:30 am for Tateyama and onward Alpine Route journey

Best view ever! Worth the trip! Can be hot despite high altitude cos it's very sunny. Take a stroll down to the highest corner of the corridor. But I have to walk back to take transport

Really incredible sight though a little touristy. Worth a visit if one is in the area. The place is well managed and maintained considering the number of tourists they get. Gets a little cold even in the summer. Very nice snowy scenes just walking through the corridor.
