The most wonderful flower park I've been to in Japan. We spent almost 7 hours here and didn't want to leave. During the day the flowers are beautiful, and in the evening the garden is lit up. Plenty of places to make good photos. During the wisteria season theme ice cream is available. There is also a food court and a big souvenir shop. Admission is cheap for such a glorious place. We had to walk 20 minutes in the dark back to the station when we visited 2 years ago, but Now that the new station was created just around the corner there will be no problems.
FOR THOSE WHO WORRY ABOUT BEING DISAPPOINTED, THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE HAS A SECTION CALLED 'WHAT THE FLOWERS LOOK LIKE NOW'! unlike many other places that don't pay much attention to informing potential guests.

It's about a 2 hour trip from Asakusa, Tokyo. At the Ashikaga Flower Park Station, it's a 5 minute walk to the left. Entrance fee is very reasonable however the time of month which was ending of October is a slight disappointment. There isn't a whole lot to see at this time of year but I'm sure this place is spectacular at the right season. I will try again in March next year definitely!

Very beautiful scenery. It's breathtaking. So much to look at and so many paths to take. Make sure you have time to see it all.

Park is very beautiful and clean and everything was fine except access via train. If you are travelling train, plan before your travel. Few trains are available
