Well maintained shrine! Very peaceful to take a walk here to see what the shrine has to offer! Not a lot of people on the weekdays which makes the place very nice to visit if the weather is very good! Nice place overall! Love it! They sell souvenirs too!

Too many tourists now that ruin the ambience because they don't know how to properly appreciate what they're partaking in.

I understand excitement, but this is different: people are just talking really loudly with each other when huddled together trying to avoid the rain.

Venue itself is great, however! I recommend coming here in the early morning or during special events.

Beautiful place with tons of history behind it, often has local performances that is superb to watch, it gives off a different feel in the day and at night. So if you have the time you can visit twice. Has lots of food and souvenir shops all around it, transport is convenient too. However, note the difference between the companies.
Must go!

The Yasaka Shrine, meant to pray for beauty is a wonderful Shrine to visit once.

During the festivals this place is often crowded with people and very fun with the various food stands that are present.

Whether you go with a date, friends or alone. It is very worth to visit at least once.

The shrine is very nice located within the park and obviously very popular. Many people use it as ambiance for photo shootings and place is usually crowded. Opposite the shrine is a very impressive stage, that at night time is illuminated by a lot of lanterns and used as stage for performances.
