A large tree will be set up and illuminated in Toji Plaza, which looks over the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen, the yubatake, or hot-water field.

It’s an amazing sight to see this much hot spring water issuing out of the ground. It’s very nice to walk around, as there are a number of places to dine or people-watch. Do maintain social distancing, though. There’s still a certain virus—which shall not be named— floating about.

The lady boss was very warmth. 中華料理, chinese oriental dumplings. Yen300 a plate. Don't expect any cheaper as it's up in the mountains & a tourist spot location.

Very nice foot bath free and public bath only ¥600. Very Japanese . Everyone was so kind !
