Great falls to view and take photos. The facility is well managed. On the way to the falls, there are a few shops and restaurants to make purchases. If you’re using public transport, beware that trains and buses are not frequent in to access fukuroda or the falls, so plan well or else you’d be stuck at the station for 2hrs for the next available train.

Nice place to stop by. The road from Tsukuba to the Fall is awesome. It's surrounded by mountains with so many green trees (we travelled in early August). As usual, we took break at convenient shops and recharged ourselves with coffee and chicken fries. We found a parking space easily costed 500 yen for the whole day. The tranquility of the beauty was beyond expression. I wish to go there again.

Beautiful waterfall. There's a tunnel into the mountain and an elevator to a viewing platform. Very interesting.

Beautiful waterfall with 4 drops. Plenty of paid parking available that gets cheaper the further away you park. No hiking to be to these falls, all paved with plenty of gift shops and restaurants along the way. Have to pay to enter the tunnel to get to the 2 viewing areas for the falls. There's also a suspesion bridge which is rather awardkly angled so you can take photos of yourself and part of the falls but you won't get the whole falls in the shot.

I went on a cloudy rainy day mid October but the leaves on many of the surrounding trees hadn't fully changed colour yet, so it might be best going a bit later. Perhaps November.
