Miura Coast, on the southeast part of Miura Peninsula, Kanagawa Prefecture, is known as a good point viewing Kawazu-sakura in late February around. Kawazu-Sakura is a type of early-blooming cherry blossom and has dark pink flowers. Approximately 1,000 Kawazu cherry trees are planted along the railroad from Miura-kaigan Station to Komatsugaike Park.
At the tents in front of the station, you can buy local products such as fresh vegetables. Also Kawazu-sakura trees are illuminated from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Enjoy the fantastic atmosphere different from daytime!

This place is really close to Yokosuka. Make sure u go to the lake to get the full experience. Get on the bridge if u want panoramic view.

Beatiful place were you can see the trees of sakura ( cherry) in japan. It is in miura, kanagawa ken , japan. The light up starts at 5:30 pm, parking is 600 yen. You can bring also your dog for walking.

Visited on the 19th of Feb 2019, some Sakura has indeed blossom however visiting a good 2-3 weeks after will probably allow the full blossoming of the Sakura in all parks and street

Kawazu cherry which bloons between mid february to early march is planted along a street. Nice but may not be worthwhile to make a trip to Miura kaigan for this.
Recommended to visit Kawazu in Izu peninsula if you are seriouly interested.
