Soga Bairin is the plum grove in Yamanashi Prefecture where you can enjoy the contrast of Mt.Fuji and a plum tree forest.
Soga Bairin is a general term for three plum groves(Nakagawa Bairin, Hara Bairin, and Bessyo Bairin) and about 35 thousand plum trees in 90 hectres wide hill.
Around 500 thousand visitors visit the "Odawara Plum Festival" every year.
Many events are scheduled during the festival such as the orange-peel-throwing competition, Haiku convention, Shishimai Dance, Yabusame(archery on horseback), Japanese traditional instrumental(Koto/Shakuhachi/Taiko) performance, etc.
In addition, you can enjoy the view of plum blossoms blooming in Odawara Castle Park, Odawara Flower Garden, and Tsujimura Botanical Park.
