The hustle and bustle of a Chinatown and it's all part of the experience. If you have a keen ear, when walking down Shinchimachi, you'll notice that the lyrical Japanese of spoken conversations, change to the more confrontational Mandarin or Cantonese. Also that Japanese politeness gets toned down a few notches. The food on offering definitely changes to that of the Chinese cuisine, as expected.

Well, with few current Chinese... a bit down at the heels. A pleasant walkthrough at best. Food reviews make it clear that it's Japanese Chinese food on offer.

Going during Chinese New year was Amazing . The locals were nice and welcoming . The food was great and the performances were outstanding. Definitely a must see if you are in Nagasaki during new year's . Out side of it though . There still is great food and atmosphere

We had an amazing time here as it was also Nagasaki Lantern Festival 2019. No shortage of festivities and so much to see. If you're ever in Nagasaki Chinatoen during the Chinese New Year, the lanterns illuminating the city streets will guide you to areas of cultural interest for the Chinese New Year Celebration.
