Great place for friends, families, and those friends you want to make family (wink wink). Beautiful display of lights and with several great places for photo opportunities! They have these spots that are created just for couple photos that are cute and amazing! Parking lot is also very large and not bad selection of food! We spent about two hours there and saw everything in a little over an hour.

If ever you want to come here be sure to bring a phone that's have a huge memory or a camera.

The great wisteria tree at Ashikaga flower park in Tochigi prefecture has been chosen as one of the top 10 international dream destinations by CNN in 2014.
Various colour of wisteria can be enjoyed in the park, blooming in purple, pink, yellow and white from mid April to early May. Apart from wisteria there are many other flowers too. Roses are very beautiful and fragrance is incredible. Ashikaga Flower Park is also known for the remarkable illumination of the garden at night in winter season. Normally park is busy in summer and inside the park there are cafes and food shops available.

Beautiful garden at night. I came here early May to see the Wisteria light up. The reflection off the pond water makes for excellent photos. I've never been here during the day, but the amount of car parking they have around the site makes me feel that this place must be rammed pack full off people during sun up hours. I came just 1 hour 30 mins before close and all the crowds had died down and I could park right next to the front entrance.
