Currently doing some renovations so the outer areas are not as visible right now. Inside of the castle, you can see awesome paintings and lacquered artwork. Each room has a different theme.

Nice nice definitely worth the visit. Centrally located with scenic views. Entry fee a little high at ¥1000+ especially compared to places like Osaka Castle which in my opinion is far nicer.

Worth the money to enter inside of the castle. (1,030yen for all, 620yen for only seeing garden)
It was amazing! If you love painting, art or Japanese architecture, you’ll love it here.

Beautiful castle! The contrast between the gold and dark wood is really striking and gardens are so vast and peaceful. You're required to take your shoes off when inside the buildings, and the traditional mats on the interior are so comfortable.
Note: Visited prior to Covid, so things may be different.

Very lovely. Beautiful gardens and of course the interior of the palace is to die for. Each room/hallway/ceiling has a different gorgeous pattern.
