Okawachiyama, Imari City, Saga Prefecture is the famous village for its pottery, called "Imari-yaki"(the pottery of Imari or Imari Ware).
Every summer, the Wind Bell Festival is held in the Okawachiyama village.
There are hundreds of wind bells made by Imari ware which are hung up all over the place in the village.
Alll of the bells are made of ceramic, and their sound is beautiful and relaxing!
During the festival, there are some events are scheduled such as drawing pictures on wind bells.
On June 15, there is an opening ceremony and the music performance of ceramic pottery bowls.

On July 20, the lantern festival is held at night. Around 2000 lanterns are set up and illuminated.
The atmosphere of the village is totally changed from the daytime, such a fantastic world!
