Autumn Grand Festival takes place at Yasaka Shrine in Nankoku City, Kochi Prefecture.
One kid chosen from local children dress in traditional costume and perform Sanbaso, an ancient folk dance, while ringing a bell.
It dates back more than 300 years and it is amazing that Sanbaso has been performed for such a long period.
Also, stone-carved guardian dogs(Komainu) are worth seeing for its size and history. Those are designated as Intangible Folk Cultural Assets of Nankoku City.
