Matsuzaka City Cultural Asset Center(Haniwa Museum) in Mie Prefecture takes Soga Shohaku (1730-1781)'s Exhibition between Oct.19 and Dec.1, 2019.
Soga Shohaku was a Japanese painter of the Edo period. And in recent years, he has been once re-evaluated in and out of Japan because of his unique and eccentric way of painting.
Matsuzaka City is known as the place related to Soga Shohaku, where he visited and stayed some times in his life.
Dates : October 19(Sat) - December 1(Sun), 2019
Hours : 9:00 - 17:00 (final entry : 16:30)
Venue : Haniwa Museum , second exhibition hall
Admission : 350 yen (free for 18 years and younger), 250 yen for group
Closed on Monday and the next day of National Holiday
