This exhibition explores the relationship between ukiyoe and food.
"Food in Edo", as depicted by famous ukiyo-e artists such as Hokusai and Hiroshige.
We will follow the food scenes depicting people enjoying their meals, people preparing for the four seasons, the fish market of Nihonbashi and the food carts of Shinagawa, and other scenes of people gathering for food.
At the same time, photos of the actual cooking methods of the time are shown, along with explanations of recipes.
Please note that visitors are required to monitor body temperature, take temperature test and wear a mask.

Hours: 10:00-20:00 Tuesday only, closing at 17:00 (entry until 30 minutes before closing)
Closed: *Closed on August 14 for artworks to be displayed during the exhibition.
Admission: ¥1,800 for adults, ¥1,300 for college and high school students, ¥800 for junior high and elementary school students
To reduce congestion and provide visitors with a sense of security and peace of mind, the "Delicious Ukiyoe" exhibition will introduce an online reservation system.
On the day of the exhibition, same-day tickets will be sold at the ticket counter as long as there is a time slot available.
