On the north fringe of Akiyoshidai Quasi-National Park lies a large safari park with 700 animals of 70 different species. You can drive through the close-to-natural habitats in your own cars or two types of buses, one of which allows feeding through windows. One of the best highlights is a tiger feeding scene, in which well-trained Marabou storks, as large as 2.5m in wing width, swoop down to try to snatch the food.

The petting zone is very popular with families, with many friendly animals such as kangaroos and squirrel monkeys eating food from your hands. In the summer, you have an opportunity to hold a baby lion for memorable photographs. There are athletic courses and children-friendly amusement rides attached to the safari park.
