Umeda Sky Building Observation Deck4.8
The sprawling Osaka City can be viewed from the top of the Umeda Sky Building, a futuristic twin-tower complex located at the center of the Kita district of Osaka. Affectionately dubbed "Arc de Triomphe of Osaka", the 170 meter-high complex has an 360-degree observatory at the top.
The observation deck, selected as one of the 100 most beautiful sunset-watching spots in Japan, is also a place to marvel at million-dollar night views. The restaurants and cafes on the 40th floor offer relaxation with good views. To take home a lasting moment of Osaka experience, drop in at souvenir shops on the 39th floor.

A stunning building. On your way to the top, there is a beautiful level with a mirror ceiling, great for a mini photo shoot! Once you're at the top, you get a lovely view over the city.
The heart lockets are an adorable way to show your love for your partner. A very interesting thing that a worker there showed us was that in the ground, there are small stones that glow at night. Very pretty.
On the ground, there is a great garden to have a small walk around. The building is also fairly close to the train station, which is useful.

Gorgeous building worth visiting at night, and would be even better at sunset. The sky deck is stunning and offers an incredible panoramic view of the city.
We got in line 30 minutes prior to sunset and totally missed it while waiting so get here a full hour before your desired time.
The sky deck is beautiful and worth spending a solid hour up there as the floor lights up and looks like UV-fed stars. The deck gets crowded but with a little patience you can get your own great spot for a photo

Very cool experience to go so high up and take in the view of the city. Ideally it's best to go during a clear day but even with some rain and clouds, the views are still really nice to see. Definitely worth the entry cost and the time!

Open air, open air, open air view. The outdoor element improves the experience by a large margin. We also can stay there however long we want...with a reasonably priced cafe at lower level that has enough seats covering roughly two different perspective.
Recommend checking out golden hours of the day and chill through sunset given you have enough time.
Note: there was a minor line when I visited, probably just for safety in confined spaces.

Cool architecture, looks like outer space ring from below. I was here to visit Christmas Market on mid December. Took a quick look into the building but didn’t enter the observation deck because Floating Garden Observatory was closed due to maintenance at that time. So I just circling the 39th floor but nothing to see here. It was quite interesting tough, to ride glass roof escalator at night, feels like moving from one space to another.

Since I was born and grew up in Osaka, I know this spot well. By the way, there are many other tourists spots in Osaka City, such as Dotombori, Shinsaibashi and Osaka castle. I can also guide these spots. Please visit Osaka!
