The sprawling Osaka City can be viewed from the top of the Umeda Sky Building, a futuristic twin-tower complex located at the center of the Kita district of Osaka. Affectionately dubbed "Arc de Triomphe of Osaka", the 170 meter-high complex has an 360-degree observatory at the top.

The observation deck, selected as one of the 100 most beautiful sunset-watching spots in Japan, is also a place to marvel at million-dollar night views. The restaurants and cafes on the 40th floor offer relaxation with good views. To take home a lasting moment of Osaka experience, drop in at souvenir shops on the 39th floor.

We spent our whole afternoon up there enjoying the 360 view of Osaka. The sunset is so beautiful so stunning take my breath away! The admission fee is around $10 Cad, which is very cheap! I would suggest if you go, be there around 4 so you can watch the sunset and take pictures of the night city scape(more beautiful). We went too early and wanted to eat but couldn’t come out cuz you gotta pay again to come back up. And there’s only a cafe there so. Definitely bring your camera!

One of the city’s most recognizable landmarks. It has a height of 173 meters or 40 floors. It has two towers connected by a Floating Garden Observatory at the 39th floor.
¥700 Entrance Fee. The view deck offers awesome view of Osaka from above. There are coffee shops, souvenir shops and lounge for those who want to stay longer. The good thing is, you can talk to the kind staff if you want to re-enter without buying another ticket.
Very romantic place especially during night time.

Free entry which is the most important thing. Great view from the inside and the outside viewing area. Nice little cafe inside but not many choices. Stayed for the sunset but clouds set in so missed that but all up it was fantastic. Only problem is have to go back to check at some stage to check on lock. Walkway outside has glow in the dark rocks in pathway that light up at night which is also very nice.

Great view of Osaka. I’ve been several times and taken in the sights at nearly every time of day. Morning is beautiful if the sky is clear. Sunset is stunning and the night view is great too. The glowing rocks on the path make it a fun experience in the dark.

That was the perfect way to spend the last hours in Osaka waiting for the train to Tokyo. The building is really close to the station and can be reached easily by walk. If you have spare time I think it worth to get at the top and watch at the stunning view of the endless metropolitan area of Osaka. There is also a small shop and a cafe if you want to have coffee with view.

Since I was born and grew up in Osaka, I know this spot well. By the way, there are many other tourists spots in Osaka City, such as Dotombori, Shinsaibashi and Osaka castle. I can also guide these spots. Please visit Osaka!
