Tokyo Skytree is an engineering marvel and a new symbol of Japan. The tower opened in 2012 as the world's tallest free-standing communication tower at 634m with a design concept of a gigantic tree reaching into the sky. There are two observation decks, one at 350m and the other at 450m.

The lower deck offers spectacular panoramic views of the city, and you can see up to 70km away and even Mount Fuji at best visibility. The second set of elevators takes you to the upper deck dubbed 'the world's highest skywalk', where you can ascend a circular glass corridor to reach the highest point. This is a must-go spot during your stay in Japan!

"The tallest structure of Japan". Located in the heart of Tokyo, it is a broadcasting-cum-observation tower that has been converted into a tourist attraction. You get a good view of the city from top. It is surrounded by a dining and marketplace. Beware! A hot tourist attraction, expect long ticket queues. Recommend going just before sunset, to enjoy Tokyo during night as well as under sunlight.

Amazing views day and night over Tokyo. Everything that I wish the Eiffel Tower could be, clean, well organised, well managed, queues that are polite.

It’s been designed to be enjoyable rather than a chore.

The views are spectacular and things are clearly labelled.

Lots of transport options to get to and from there.

Very reasonable pricing for entrance and food. There are also lots of cafes and good walks around the area.

On summer Sundays there is usually something happening in the nearby park.

I walk past the Skytree on a regular basis and I never get bored.

It’s something only the Japanese could design. 21st century looks, an enormous building and yet it fits seamlessly into surrounding area.

I like approaching it by night on the river boat, but however you get there, you’ll be glad you dis

Tallest Broadcast Tower. Tokyo Skytree marks the shift from analog to digital TV transmission in Japan. There are two decks for viewing on the Skytree, 350m and 450m. View from 350meters is amazing enough for most people. There’s a see through lift when going from 350m to 450m height. Lots of options for pictures to be clicked on both the decks.

Cool views of Tokyo that shows you just how sprawling it is. We got to see Mt Fuji, though it was a bit hazy. I think it’s a bit pricey, but we enjoyed our visit. We only went to the 350m level. I honestly don’t think it would be worth the extra money to go higher, but I can’t speak from experience.

The view from the outside is great, however I arrived at five and had to get a ticket saying to come back at 7.30 to stand in-line for another 30 minutes to buy the Actual ticket to go to the top.
If your hear for a while, I'd suggest hitting up the free observation decks. They are less crowded, you don't get as much light glare off the window (which is what I found to be the case at Tokyo Tower) and the view is still really awesome

It's out of this world! Tokyo night view of the downtown area at a glance, not many buildings and sky tree, a distant scenery or panoramic view.

太棒了!东京闹市的夜景一览无余,而且天空树的高楼大厦不多,很远处的风景也可以尽收眼底。

It is said that this is the highest TV Tower in the world, though there haven't been, but Japan's friends say, is definitely worth a visit. Trust friends, must have the opportunity to take a look.

据说这是世界上最高的电视信号塔,虽然还没去过,但听在日本的朋友说,绝对是值得一去的地方。相信朋友的话,有机会一定去看看。
