Tokyo Skytree is an engineering marvel and a new symbol of Japan. The tower opened in 2012 as the world's tallest free-standing communication tower at 634m with a design concept of a gigantic tree reaching into the sky. There are two observation decks, one at 350m and the other at 450m.

The lower deck offers spectacular panoramic views of the city, and you can see up to 70km away and even Mount Fuji at best visibility. The second set of elevators takes you to the upper deck dubbed 'the world's highest skywalk', where you can ascend a circular glass corridor to reach the highest point. This is a must-go spot during your stay in Japan!

First things first. My top tip, if it’s your birthday, weather 5 or 96 tell them! You’ll get a badge and extra special treatment on your walk round. The staff will politely wish you happy birthday and make you feel great!

I would recommend an early doors visit to avoid the crowds.

The views are amazing and they let us change the times on own tickets because the weather was poor on the Initial visit. The sky tree is also part of a shopping centre so plenty of food and drink is available to be purchased.

The bath rooms are clean and tidy.

Situated on the outskirts of the city, this tower dominates the skyline of the area. As such, it provides a great vantage point to see a Tokyo without nearby buildings obstructing the view.

We payed extra to go up to the higher observation deck. As the difference in height is only 100 metres, the view is practically the same, but the best benefit is that it is much
less crowded, making it possible to enjoy the views in a bit more peace.

Would strongly recommend to visitors of the city.

It's nice to see from far away. But this is away from city center. The lines to the top is way too long. Heard the governor building is free and better view. You also have to come on a perfect day to be able to see mount Fuji.

First you get a waiting ticket at the entrance, which says when you can enter the tower to buy tickets. It was more than 1 hour for me.Then you can go get your ticket and wait in a queue to the elevator. There are 2 viewing platforms, the first is at 350 meters and you can buy another ticket to get to 450 meters. Views are great, but the place is always busy with queues everywhere. It;s worth going there once and experiencing the worlds second highest building, but i don't know if i would want to go there again and spend around half of the time waiting in queues.Definitely go there on weekdays as i went there on saturday.

I would call this a “must-see” in Tokyo. When first built, it was the tallest tower in the world, and still feels impressively large. Great view all the way out to Yokohama. There were guides for the attraction in many languages. I’ve visited both during the day and night, and much prefer going at night.

It's out of this world! Tokyo night view of the downtown area at a glance, not many buildings and sky tree, a distant scenery or panoramic view.

太棒了!东京闹市的夜景一览无余,而且天空树的高楼大厦不多,很远处的风景也可以尽收眼底。

The observation decks provide you with the panoramic view of Tokyo. Although the admission ticket is on sale, it is advised that you make the reservation in advance in order to avoid the waiting time, which could be 3~4 hours regardless ...

It is said that this is the highest TV Tower in the world, though there haven't been, but Japan's friends say, is definitely worth a visit. Trust friends, must have the opportunity to take a look.

据说这是世界上最高的电视信号塔,虽然还没去过,但听在日本的朋友说,绝对是值得一去的地方。相信朋友的话,有机会一定去看看。
