Tokyo Skytree is an engineering marvel and a new symbol of Japan. The tower opened in 2012 as the world's tallest free-standing communication tower at 634m with a design concept of a gigantic tree reaching into the sky. There are two observation decks, one at 350m and the other at 450m.

The lower deck offers spectacular panoramic views of the city, and you can see up to 70km away and even Mount Fuji at best visibility. The second set of elevators takes you to the upper deck dubbed 'the world's highest skywalk', where you can ascend a circular glass corridor to reach the highest point. This is a must-go spot during your stay in Japan!

I can highly recommend visiting Tokyo Skytree when in Asakusa. The view is exceptionally breathtaking and much better than from Tokyo Tower. Paying a bit more to go to the top is absolutely worth it. We've done that twice and had plenty of space to watch the stunning sunset without any crowds. However, make sure to arrive at least 2 hours before sunset. A big plus: Tokyo Skytree is, of course, entirely wheelchair accessible!

Fantastic place to visit. Best to buy tickets online or via agency before you go. The procedure is pretty simple and the staff is very helpful. Try going pin a weekday to avoid rush and preferably before 1200 hrs. It's easily accessible by foot and via train. The views from the top are amazing and really cool specially on a clear day ( so checking the weather before going is highly recommended).

Good activity for solo travelers, couples, families and kids. Recommended

Definitely worth to visit! For international travelers: take a quick path for extra ¥1000 and avoid standing for around 20 minutes in regular lane.
Take a selfie stick with you to catch a better shots upstairs.
Also plan your visit for morning or evening hours: you won’t need to think how to take a photo of downtown against the sun ;)

Absolute amazing view! :-D But don't ask for a BASE jump from the top. They understand the adventure of life in other calm way, and will look suspicious at you... ;-(

This is an experience worth while. We came quite late around 9 so very small queue they work the system very efficiently the views are breathtaking. No need to go to the 450 meter 350 is enough. Be careful to go when good visibility otherwise waste of space

It's out of this world! Tokyo night view of the downtown area at a glance, not many buildings and sky tree, a distant scenery or panoramic view.

太棒了!东京闹市的夜景一览无余,而且天空树的高楼大厦不多,很远处的风景也可以尽收眼底。

The observation decks provide you with the panoramic view of Tokyo. Although the admission ticket is on sale, it is advised that you make the reservation in advance in order to avoid the waiting time, which could be 3~4 hours regardless ...

It is said that this is the highest TV Tower in the world, though there haven't been, but Japan's friends say, is definitely worth a visit. Trust friends, must have the opportunity to take a look.

据说这是世界上最高的电视信号塔,虽然还没去过,但听在日本的朋友说,绝对是值得一去的地方。相信朋友的话,有机会一定去看看。
