Mount Fuji (5th Station)4.3
Mount Fuji, Japan's symbolic mountain, was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site designated in 2013 to become a treasure of the world. Driving through a 'sea of trees' primitive woodland and sprawling clouds by way of Fuji Subaru Line, you will reach the Kawaguchiko 5th Station, the most popular point to begin your climb up to the summit.
There are restaurants, a post office, foreign exchange counter and many other convenient facilities, making this area a very modern spot attracting lots of climbers. You may be able to see rare species such as Japanese serow, which is listed a National Natural Monument. Before starting your hike, go to the nearby Komitake Shirine to pray for a good fortune. Now move to the trailhead, as above-clouds views and dramas of nature are waiting for you!

After a day of climbing mount fuji a warm meal and a beer were fantastic. Nevertheless the place is a bit overpriced. But i was to tired to care. :-) The Meal was tasty and so was the beer.
