Hakusan Shirakawa-go White Road, formerly known as Hakusan Super Rindo Road, is a renowned mountain road for driving through Hakusan National Park between Ishikawa and Gifu Prefectures. The total length is 33.3km(20.7miles), of which the toll road from the Ishikawa Chugu Toll Gate to the Gifu Magari Toll Gate is 24.5km (15.22miles). You can enjoy a pleasant drive stopping at the sightseeing spots on the way including a variety of waterfalls and a valley bridge. Close attention to the traffic information is required, as there are hairpin curves and steep climbs, and many traffic restrictions due to heavy rain, snow, heavy fog, etc. Motorcycles are not allowed.
