Jinzu-kyo Gorge, carved by the flow of the Jinzu River, stretches approximately 15km (9.3 miles) from Sasazu to Inotani in Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture. It offers a variety of sceneries from the calm surface of Jin-ichi Dam Lake to the steep V-shaped cliffs of Kataji-kyo Gorge. The view from the Ioridani-toge Tenbo-dai (Ioridani Pass Observatory) is especially amazing. You can also enjoy ayu-fishing in summer, autumn leave viewing in fall, and snow viewing in winter.

Superb view. The road to the observatory is narrow and rugged

When I went with Google Maps navigation, I was guided to a road that could not be reached by car and rubbed the door mirror.

To get there, turn left at the Tobuya bus stop on the Toyama side in front of the Sugaya Tunnel and cross the 41st road to the other side. This road is closed due to heavy rain?

The other way is to go through the Yabuya tunnel to Takayama side and enter the road going up diagonally from the road station on the left side.

The scenery is only the Toyama side, so it wasn't hard enough.

As I met a snake, please be careful.

It is old, but you can see the Shinto Gorge well on the north side. If you walk a little further, you can go to the transmission tower. You can easily walk around the mountain

You can only go on a mountain path. However, it is a beautiful spot for the autumn leaves season.

Visited November 10, 2019. There is a road going from a road station to a narrow road across the road. If it is about 3 cars, it will be managed. The dam lake direction is not visible.
