A lily garden located 4km (2.5 mile) northwest of JR Uzentsubaki Staion in Iide Town, Yamagata Prefecture. 150 species/500,000 plants of lilies including Easter lilies and Thunbeng lilies in orange, pink and yellow are in full bloom from mid June to mid July, when the Black Cow Festival (Kuro-beko Matsuri) and open-air concerts are held. Promenades and an observatory which look over the dispersed rural settlement are provided on site.
Entrance fee required during the festival.

Very kind staff, detailed instructions, must visit place for mid-level ski lover.

The lilies were beautifully bloomed and there is a restaurant to have a short meal and rest. Best timing to go is June.
