Tokyo Dome is Japan's first indoor baseball stadium and also called by the moniker Big Egg. The dome is the home of the two professional baseball teams (Yomiuri Giants and Nippon Ham). Even if you are not a baseball fan, this is a wonderful place to experience the enthusiasm of Japanese fans banging sticks and singing with brass band throughout the game.
In spring and summer, tours to explore the stands and the ground and backyard are available. For those interested in the history of Japanese baseball, the Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is also attached. It is conveniently located near a subway station and has its own 'town' (Tokyo Dome City) so there are many places to grab a bite.
