Daiba Itchome Shotengai4.2
The shopping mall Decks Tokyo Beach in Odaiba has an interesting floor reminiscent of Tokyo in 1950s. Taking up the entire 4th floor, Itchome Shoutengai ('1st street shopping arcade') is packed with shops, restaurants and street scenes all set up for the bygone era. A traditional pharmacy sells medicine using the exact reproduction of paper bags. Vehicles popular in 1950s are parked from place to place. Arcade games, toys, snacks and bottled drinks all have a feel of vintage Tokyo. This is a nice place to spend some time remembering your childhood.

Time travel at a bargain! Truly the best place in Tokyo to kill time and 100¥ coins! Love the various pinballs and the street fighter game!

It used to have more exhibitions and such, but it's become all stores or arcades these days. Very retro vibes and interesting to go back to every now and then! The stuff they sell are very expensive despite how obsolete and useless they are this day and age..

Do you like nostalgic shopping streets? If so, this shoutengai has a wonderful Showa era feel to it, especially if the old jukebox is playing! There are several shops here that sell great crafted items, perfect as souvenirs (I bought some glass and ceramic animals).
