Kuronagi Hot Spring (Kuronagi Onsen)
It's rather hard to get there but worth a try!
An extremely secluded hot spring located in a gorge in Unazuki-cho, Kurobe City, Toyama Prefecture. You can not get there by car but by trekking from the local trolley station to the inn, Kuronagi Onsen Ryokan along the Kuronagi River, which is the branch of the Kurobe River. The amount of hot water is abundant and it supplies hot water for Unazuki-onsen, which is another hot spring 8 km (0.5 mile) downstream. The inn provide two open-air baths and the larger one is a mixed-bathing bath (you can wear swimsuits or wrap a towel). A day spa available for visitors.

Really enjoyed our stay here, lovely food, great location, good little walk through the forest to get there.
Would definitely go back.

I did not visit the actual facility only the Riverside onsen. I have been to many onsen across Japan and this one ranks as one of the best. Not only is the view incredibly scenic but the water is of great quality and temperature.

Arrived at Kuronagi Station in less than 30 minutes after being shaken by a truck train from Unazuki Onsen. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Kuronagi Onsen. There are indoor baths and open-air baths, but after all, they are open-air baths. The scenery is superb in the large mixed bathing open-air bath that boiled on the banks of the Kuronagi River. The source is hot and boiling all over. It is said that there is a risk of burns if you try to go out to the river in a detour. It seems that the hot water here is drawn to Unazuki Onsen by pipeline. A colorless and transparent hot spring that seems to be a hot spring. Hot spring nerds should come here from Unazuki.

It was about 20 minutes on foot from the station.
Please note that the scaffolding may be slippery in some places.
The indoor bath is a corona measure and the number of people is limited, so you can take a bath with confidence, and the open-air bath has the best view. It was well worth the trip!
