Nebuta House Wa Rasse4.0
This museum was opened in 2011 and shows history of the summer festival, Aomori Nebuta Matsuri, displaying art works of illuminated floats used in the past. In the atrium are several life-size floats with very impressive, larger-than-life images. The words "Wa Rasse" are coined to mean harmony ('wa') with 'rasse', the spirited shout in the festival.

Wonderful float museum in Aomori. A must see as the float designs are made by using paper over a wire design and lighted from the inside. Beautifully designed floats that must be seen to be fully appreciated.

Wow. Amazing craftwork. After the show, visitors are invited to try hitting the drum and playing with a cymbal according to their tune. Visitors will have a chance to dance like the way the annual ceremony is held during Aug 2-7.
