Hachiman-no-yabushirazu ('no-exit bush of Hachiman') is a small clumb in the city of Ichikawa, famous as a spot where people have been spirited away. Since the Edo period, there has been a folklore warning of this forbidden bush - 'once you are in the bush, there is no way out.'
Currently this clump is just 20m long and wide, but there are reports that persons who tried to cut bamboo stalks here were seriously injured or later died a mysterious death. Even a spiritually insensitive person can get a strange feel skirting this clump.
