Red Brick Warehouses4.1
The Red Brick Warehouses are a pair of historic landmark buildings in the Minato Mirai district of Yokohama. This is a very popular date spot, particularly after dark when the red-brick walls are atmospherically lit up and there is a marvelous night view of the port.
The Building No. 1 has a concert hall and art galleries, serving as a trend setter of cultural activities in Yokohama. In the Building No. 2, you can enjoy a huge variety of restaurants and unique boutiques. In between the two buildings is an open courtyard-like area, where a skating rink and a giant Christmas tree are set up in the winter season. In summer, you can have a wonderful time drinking beer!

It is the most famous and popular warehouse among many huge brick buildings in Yokohama.
In 1911, it is a historic warehouse built by the country to show an example of warehouse construction for modernization. After finishing its role in 1989, After being restored, it was reopened as a commercial facility in 2002.
The straight and rugged box has an exotic atmosphere that you can't think of as Japanese architecture. However, since the hall has been completely renovated, it is difficult to feel the old architectural style. Encourage people to go out onto a terrace that used to be a hallway.
Unfortunately, it is not attractive when viewed as a commercial facility. It is expensive, including meals, and there are few special items available only here. The most disappointing thing is that there are no drink vending machines. If you are satisfied with the appearance, you should move to another tourist spot immediately.

This place has a lot of food choices to offer. And try to explore the outside near the port where you can have a good view for pictures and you can even visit and ride the big boat anchored there. You can also see malls around and this is near the nissin noodle museum and the amusement park.

This was a fun place to see some interesting things and to cool off from the heat!
Have some good food choices at tourist prices.
Nice place to hang out for a couple of hours

Hipster spot that is filled with interesting shops. Great destination to go for drinks, food, or shopping. Many of the workers I interacted with spoke enough English to understand each other, which is good because I don't know Japanese, thank you! Just as impressive as the buildings itself is the view from outside where a lot of people where enjoying the view of the docks or city. Would make a great spot for a date!

Cool vibey place. Filled with arty shops and nice food within the Red Brick houses. Festivals also take place at the open area once in a while.

But, my recommend is to approach from sea! You can get on board "Sea Bus" from Bay Quater Yokohama or Minato-Mirai. This short ship trip is very comfortable and you can find another "face" of this bay town.
