Landmark on Omotesando, a commercial/residential complex with parkings.
Designed by a world-renowned architect Tadao Ando in his novel and original style, its appearance is well considered to harmonize with the landscapes of historic Omotesando. Though the building has 12 stories, only six stories rise above the ground, with the rest of them underground.
Shops and restaurans are placed from the third basement floor to the third floor, along with the ramp around the atrium. There are apparel shops including flagship stores for high-end brands, stylish gadgets and stationery shops, a wide variety of cafes and restaurants and art galleries.
The ex-landmark here, the Dojunkai Aoyama Apartment Houses, was demolished in 2003. Since the apartments had been loved and missed by public, part of the apartments were renovated into the Omotesando Hills as Dojun-kan with its original window frames and railings.
