Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo4.0
The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in the eastern part of Tokyo exhibits modern artworks from Japan and abroad. The museum has a collection of around 5,000 pieces, with two floors for permanent exhibitions and three floors for temporary ones. The high ceiling allows large-scale presentation and the atrium has a themed large installation changing year by year.
Opened in 1995, the art museum has collected and preserved a wide range of contemporary art, including architecture, fashion and design, created after WWII. The adjacent Kiba Park provides a beautiful view of greenery, and the location close to Kokugikan Sumo Hall and Asakusa retains something of Tokyo's traditional charm. The art library, museum shop, restaurant and cafe are available.

Went to yoko ono exhibition. I'm not really a fan of her works but the building and they way they displayed the exhibition was really cool.

World-class contemporary art museum.
Featuring amazing huge spaces, special exhibitions and a couple of cafes.
Based within an equally impressive building next to a park.
