Noboribestu Onsen, on the southwestern coast, is one of the most well-known hot spring towns in Hokkaido. The town is tightly clustered in a valley surrounded by mountains.
The daily volume of water discharge is around 10,000 tons, with nine healing substances, including sulfur and sodium bicarbonate, are found in the water of 45 to 90°C. Many people use hot springs to enjoy health benefits while refreshing their body and mind.
