The Yokohama Marine Tower is the 106m-high symbol tower built in 1961 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Yokohama port's opening.
To commemorate the 150th anniversary of opening of the port to foreign trade, the tower was refurbished and born again as the new Yokohama Marine Tower.
In sunny days, visitors can enjoy viewing the beautiful night views of Yamashita Park, Minato Mirai 21, Yokohama Bay Bridge, and Mt. Fuji from the observation platform where the entire port and city can be seen in a 360 degree panorama.
Besides, there are various restaurants, cafes, bars, and the Marin Tower Shops where souvenirs and Yokohama Marine Tower original items are sold.
